Mercy Philadelphia Hospital Names Sister Suzanne Gallagher New Vice President, Mission Services
West Philadelphia, PA - Sister Suzanne Gallagher, RSM, PhD was recently appointed as the new Vice President of Mission Services at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.
“Sister Suzanne’s addition to Mercy Philadelphia will be valuable as we continue in our tradition of integrating the Catholic healing ministry and Mercy mission and core values into the services and programs we provide to our community,” says Chief Executive Officer Kathryn Conallen.
Prior to joining Mercy Philadelphia Hospital, Gallagher worked at Gwynedd Mercy College for 14 years in roles including Director of the MS in Education Program, Associate Professor in the School of Education, Advisor and Thesis Director. She has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Loyola University in Chicago, School Principal at St. Paul School in Norristown and Waldron Mercy Academy in Merion, as well as a classroom teacher in several schools in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Gallagher earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Psychology at Loyola University, Master of Science in Education at University of Dayton and Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Gwynedd Mercy College.
