Marino Leonardi, MD, FACC, Welcomes William J. Strimel, DO, FACC, FACP to Mercy Cardiology
The Mercy Physician Network, along with Marino Leonardi, MD, FACC, welcomes William J. Strimel, DO, FACC, FACP, to the medical staff of Mercy Cardiology at Mercy Suburban Hospital, 2701 DeKalb Pike, East Norriton, PA.
Dr. Strimel is a US Army Combat veteran and strongly supports increasing access to quality care for veterans. Dr. Strimel comes to Mercy Cardiology from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he served as a non-invasive cardiologist specializing in exercise and sports cardiology as well as heart rhythm disorders. He is also interested in cardiovascular care of athletes of all ages, from children and adolescents to seniors.
Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Strimel earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Georgia. Dr. Strimel completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Texas A&M University Health Science Center/Scott and White Program.
