Nazareth Hospital Recognizes 2013 Therapy Awards Recipients
NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA, PA (February 28, 2014): Three colleagues were recently recognized by Nazareth Hospital’s Inpatient/Outpatient Therapy Department as winners of its 2013 Therapy Awards.
The annual awards, which are peer nominated and voted on, are presented to recipients from three different categories. The award categories are: Therapist of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Go To Person. The awards are presented to recipients who exemplify professionalism, show a dedication to patient care and exhibit commitment to their work.
A brief summary about each of the recipients and their honors is listed below:
Tracy Harvey — Therapist of the Year Award
Tracy is an Inpatient Therapy physical therapist with more than 20 years of experience. She possesses the knowledge and expertise to provide excellent physical therapy. Tracy was honored with the 2013 Therapist of the Year Award for her strong sense of personal commitment and dedication to patient care.
Jaclyn Bird — Newcomer of the Year Award
Jaclyn is earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May. She joined Nazareth Hospital’s Acute Care Physical Therapy Department in July 2013. In her role as a physical therapist, Jaclyn consistently displays a high level of professionalism with all patients, caregivers and colleagues. Jackie was recognized with the 2013 Newcomer of the Year Award for her willingness to learn and increase her clinical expertise.
Linda Niessen — Go To Person Award
Linda is a patient registration/insurance verification receptionist at Nazareth Hospital’s Center for Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation and Balance. Linda was selected for the 2013 Go To Person Award for her commitment, reliability and a high level of competence in her daily work.
