Nazareth Hospital, Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park Offer Free Adult Healthy Living Event on Depression, Dementia, Stress and Flu Vaccines
Event will be held on October 25. Free health screenings will be provided.
NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (October 18, 2016): Nazareth Hospital and Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park have partnered to present a new and engaging educational program – the Adult Healthy Living series — to improve the health of residents of our community. Members of the public are welcome to attend free events and learn from healthcare and clinical experts how to live healthier. Our October event will focus on depression, dementia, stress and flu vaccines. On Tuesday, October 25, attend a free lecture, "Medicare Annual Open Enrollment Period: Should I Keep My Same Coverage?" presented by a represented from Pennsylvania's free health insurance counseling program (APPRISE). Other topics discussed at this event include "The Mind Diet," depression in the geriatric population and the difference between a regular and high dose of the flu vaccine. Other services at the event include free blood pressure screenings and free flu vaccinations.
This Adult Healthy Living educational event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is being held at Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park, located at 8401 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19152.
