Free Smoking Cessation Classes Offered this Fall at Nazareth Hospital

Nazareth Hospital is proud to offer another series of free smoking and tobacco cessation classes this fall for individuals looking to quit smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and/or smokeless tobacco use.

Classes are designed to help smokers and tobacco users kick the habit by providing the knowledge, techniques and support they need to become tobacco-free. Classes include: understanding addiction, behavior change strategies, coping mechanisms for urges and stress, education on healthy lifestyle choices, access to resources for nicotine replacement therapy, and relapse prevention.

The Smoking and Tobacco Cessation Classes will be divided into two sessions. The first session will take place on Wednesdays from September 13 to October 25; from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The second session will take place on Wednesdays from November 1 to December 13; from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They will both be located at Nazareth Hospital, 2601 Holme Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19152, in the 1st Floor Cancer Team Conference Room.
