Nazareth Hospital to Hold Blood Drive

Philadelphia, PA (May 23, 2017): Nazareth Hospital and American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Friday, June 2, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Marian Hall of 2601 Holme Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19152.

Local chapters of the American Red Cross recently announced that area blood supplies are extremely low and issued an emergency appeal for blood and platelet donations. Healthy donors are encouraged to give blood to help meet this life-saving need for people affected by accidents, surgery and some cancers, including leukemia.

Appointments to donate blood are not required, but those that wish to make an appointment can do so by contacting Karen McGinley, Executive Administrative Assistant, at 215.335.6281 or KMcGinley@mercyhealth.org. You can also sign up online by visiting www.redcrossblood.org and using the sponsor code "Nazareth Hospital."
