A recent Pet Therapy session at Mercy LIFE Broad Street was featured on the evening news along with words from Chanel Coleman, Recreation Therapy Supervisor for Mercy LIFE. Paws of the Spirit was on site with participants as they interacted with guinea pigs and rabbits and experienced practical animal assistance with Archie the Labrador Retriever.

Mercy LIFE Participant Julia Ellis Celebrates 100th Birthday
NBC10 News and CBS3 Eyewitness News joined Mercy LIFE Participant, Julia Ellis, as she celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends at Mercy LIFE Broad Street on March 2. Julia married and raised five children and was in the work force, as a chef and daycare teacher, until she was 87 years old. Julia has been a valued participant of the Mercy LIFE program since 2007.
