The event benefits facility enhancements to Mercy Suburban Hospital.
It’s time to dust off your trusty golf clubs and practice your short game, as the 30th Annual Mercy Suburban Hospital Golf Classic is right around the corner. The event, which benefits facility enhancements to Mercy Suburban Hospital, tees off at Plymouth Country Club, located at 888 Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting.
Registration and lunch will start at 10:30 a.m. The tournament will begin with a 12 p.m. shotgun start. The tournament will conclude at 5:30 p.m. with reception, dinner and an awards program. Played on the beautiful and picturesque greens of Plymouth Country Club, the private, 18-hole championship course tests the skills of even the most seasoned golfer.
The Mercy Suburban Hospital Golf Classic, which has attracted thousands of golfers over the years, will feature new attractions for 2013, including swing pro tips, swing analysis and golf performance screenings. PGA professional Don DeAngelis, named a Top 50 Nationwide Golf Instructor by Philadelphia Magazine, will do 10-minute video swing analysis. Mercy Orthopedics will also provide free golf performance screenings by taking key measurements related to injury prevention and performance enhancement. Golfers can also test their abilities and win money in the new Circle of Cash contest. If golfers drive their ball into the circle on a 160-yard, par-3 hole, they take home a monetary prize.
