Ways to Give

Every year, neighbors, friends, former patients, colleagues and members of the business community contribute to our "Fund For Mercy," our Annual Fund Campaign. Their gifts are combined and put to general use to purchase needed equipment, renovate hospital facilities, provide critical care, continued research, and outreach programs. If you are making a donation to Mercy through any one of the many opportunities provided to support our mission and you work for a company that will match your donation, please feel free to send us any form that needs to be completed to facilitate the match. Matching gifts from your employer can double or triple the size of your gift. There is no more personal way to honor a friend or loved one than a donation made in memory or tribute. It allows you to honor a loved one, pay tribute to a family member, special friend or a colleague. You can remember a healthcare professional such as a physician, nurse, or aide who touched your life or the life of a loved one. You can even commemorate a special occasion. Whichever choice is right for you, consider expressing your love or gratitude in this unique way. Families may also request that in lieu of flowers, friends make a donation to Mercy in their memory. The simplest way to give a gift to Mercy is made through cash, check or credit card. Your gift may lower your taxable income while you help insure quality healthcare at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital, Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Mercy Suburban Hospital and Nazareth Hospital. Donations can include clinical and non-clinical services and items. Examples: clinical training, surplus equipment, office furniture, supplies and more. Contact us for more information on the areas of need throughout our healthcare System.

You can donate through Bequests, Wills and Estate Planning, Securities and Stock, and Life Insurance. You can name Mercy Health Foundation or Nazareth Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, life insurance policy or with a gift of real estate. As a non-profit charitable organization, each Mercy Health System care unit is eligible to receive donations of $25 or more made to United Way of Southeastern of Pennsylvania. Please designate the name of the Mercy Hospital(s) of your choice in the “Specific Need” section at the bottom United Way Form as follows:
