Recipe: Green Goddess Dressing

Salad dressing½ cup light mayonnaise
4 green onions (scallions), chopped
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
¼ cup cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. prepared horseradish
½ cup fat-free buttermilk

Put all ingredients into a small food processor or blender. Mix well and you’ll have a zesty, creamy, green salad dressing.

Makes 1 cup (16 tablespoons) of salad dressing. Each tablespoon contains about 23 calories, 2 g fat (less than 1 g saturated fat, no trans fat, 3 mg cholesterol), 81 mg sodium, 1 g carbohydrate, less than 1 g dietary fiber, 1 g sugar, and less than 1 g protein.
