What is a Mall Walkers Program?
It is simply a group of people who walk laps in the comfort and safety of the mall. Walking is done at a moderate pace and you can do as many or a few laps as you desire.
Proper Warm-Up Exercises helps prepare your body for aerobic activity. It “revs up” your cardiovascular system, increases blood flow to your muscles and raises your body temperature. Jumping into an aerobic workout, like walking, without preparing your body could lead to such problems as muscle strain or injury.
And Cooling Down?
Cooling down after your workout helps gradually reduce the temperature of your muscles, especially if you’ve had an intense workout. Cooling down may also reduce muscle injury, stiffness and soreness.
