Kevin D. Judy, MD
Dr. Kevin Judy will lead the Mercy Neurosurgery practice at Mercy Fitzgerald and Mercy Philadelphia Hospitals. Named one of Philadelphia Magazine's Top Docs in 2011 and 2012, Dr. Judy specializes in neuro-oncology and stereotactic radiosurgery. He completed fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
David W. Andrews, MD
Recognized as the world leader in radiosurgery, including establishing the first Radiosurgery Program in the Delaware Valley, Dr. David Andrews subspecializes in surgical and radiosurgical treatment of brain tumors, neuro-oncologic neurosurgery with image-guidance and intraoperative motor and speech corticography, neuroendoscopic neurosurgery, biologically-based treatment of malignant gliomas, MRI-based stereotactic biopsy and conventional fraction stereotactic radiotherapy. He completed a fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He has been named as one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
James J. Evans, MD
Dr. James Evans’ areas of expertise and interest include skull base surgery neuro-oncology, molecular genetics, brain mapping and epilepsy surgery. He completed his neurosurgical training at the Cleveland Clinic and fellowship training in skull base surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Evans has been named as one of Philadelphia Magazine’s Top Docs in 2010 and 2012.
Christopher J. Farrell, MD
Dr. Christopher Farell has expertise in the management of benign and malignant brain tumors, including meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, pituitary tumors and gliomas. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Harvard University, a research fellowship by the American Brain Tumor Association to study immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of malignant gliomas, and a fellowship in cranial base surgery at the Semmes-Murphey Neurologic & Spine Institute in Memphis, TN.
Joshua E. Heller, MD
Dr. Joshua Heller has expertise in general neurosurgery and adult reconstructive spine surgery. He completed fellowship training at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Jack Jallo, MD, PhD
Dr. Jack Jallo has expertise in general neurosurgery and adult reconstructive spine surgery. He has an extensive list of published research in leading medical journals. Dr. Jallo has authored or co-authored 18 book chapters and edited two text books of neurosurgery. His research has been funded through industry grants and through the National Institutes of Health. He completed a Fellowship in Neurotrauma and Critical Care at Temple University Hospital.
Yaron A. Moshel, MD
Dr. Yaron Moshel specializes in the treatment of all brain tumors, including glioblastomas, meningiomas, metastic brain tumors, pituitary tumors, pineal tumors, cariopharyngiomas and skull base tumors. He uses the latest techniques in computer-guided stereotactic surgical navigation, minimally invasive endoscopy and microsurgery. Dr. Moshel completed his residency training and fellowship in stereotactic surgery and neuro-oncology at the New York University Medical Center.
