Breast Cancer Clinical Trials/Research

Clinical trials are designed to test new therapies, such as technology or medications, for treating diseases like cancer. Clinical trials are clearly defined protocols that involve close and frequent monitoring by your physician. Participation in clinical trials is completely voluntary.

Part of Sidney Kimmel Cancer Network at Jefferson

Mercy Health System is a part of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Network at Jefferson, providing our patients access to clinical trial opportunities at our hospitals and in surrounding communities.

Our fellowship-trained breast surgeons serve as clinical trial investigators. Our clinical research nurse and cancer nurse navigators are also available to coordinate your participation in a clinical trial and answer any questions.
