Mercy Philadelphia Hospital Named Most Happening Hospital in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, PA (May 31, 2013) – Mercy Philadelphia Hospital (MPH) was recently named the Most Happening Hospital in the City of Philadelphia, beating out four other nominated hospitals as part of Philly Happening Magazine’s 2013 Happenings List competition.
“It is a wonderful compliment to have been voted as Philadelphia’s Most Happening hospital,” said MPH Executive Director Susan Cusack. “We are a community hospital, and we take great pride in being able to provide quality and compassionate care to anyone who walks through our doors, so it’s an honor to be recognized by our community and by the public for what we do.”
The Happenings List is Philadelphia’s People’s Choice competition, with 100% of the voting done by the public. The four other nominated hospitals included Temple University, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Jefferson Hospital, and sister hospital Nazareth Hospital, which was the runner up.
Consistently recognized for high-quality healthcare and services, Mercy Philadelphia Hospital was also recently a recipient of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Awards, and also recently earned its third consecutive ENERGY STAR from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, .
