Susan Croushore Appointed Interim President and CEO, Mercy Health System
Conshohocken, PA (October 29, 2013) – Mercy Health System (MHS) announced that Susan Croushore has been appointed interim President and Chief Executive Officer, Mercy Health System. Susan brings nearly 20 years of healthcare CEO leadership and experience to this executive role. Prior to joining Mercy, Susan served as President and CEO of The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio for 10 years. During this time, she led development of a new hospital vision and strategic plan, which included a comprehensive primary care strategy, Clinically Integrated Network and commitment to quality leadership.
Susan also served in various executive roles, including CEO of Jeanes Hospital (part of Temple University Health System), and President and CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Susan holds a Master’s of Business Administration from LaSalle University and a Master’s of Science in Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Penn State University.
