Dine with the Docs: Discuss Breast Health at Nazareth Hospital
Northeast Philadelphia (September 27, 2018): On October 2, Nazareth Hospital will continue its popular Dine with the Docs community Q&A series with a discussion about breast health. At the free event, participants will hear from Karen Kish, M.D., breast surgeon at Nazareth Hospital. The event will provide an interactive Q&A session and informative lecture with Dr. Kish, along with a complimentary meal.
By performing self-examinations a few times per month, women can monitor their breast sensitivities and textures during their menstrual cycles. Women can also ensure proper breast health by learning about common screenings and tests, such as mammograms and ultrasounds. Dr. Kish will discuss these preventive measures, as well as additional ways to maintain breast health.
Dine with the Docs is an educational series designed to create an open dialogue between Nazareth Hospital physicians and members of the community regarding important health topics.
The event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Nazareth Hospital’s DiBello Conference Room, located at 2601 Holme Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. Registration is required for this event. To register, or for more information, call 215.335.6100 or visit www.mercyhealth.org.
