Why did you choose endocrinology?

By default, actually. I was hospitalist for VA in 1980s before hospitalists were everywhere. They had no endocrinologist so I did that work. I liked it and thought I ought to get good at it and headed off for fellowship.

Call if the medicines bother you or the pharmacy won’t let you get them.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?

To be able to make obese people slim without putting them through some ordeal to do it.

If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive, who would it be?

My wife; my glasses; a ;pen.

Okay, lightning round:

Salty or Sweet?
Spicy or Mild?

Indoors or Outdoors?
City, Country or Woods?
A place I’ve not been before. The type of place does not matter.
